Grade 3 Weekly Update – Learning, Creating, and Exploring

This week in Grade 3 was full of learning, creativity, and focus across different subjects. Unit of Inquiry – Getting Ready for Our Assembly In our Unit of Inquiry, we worked hard to prepare for our upcoming assembly . Students developed their roles, wrote dialogues, and discussed how to present their ideas clearly and confidently. Groups who finished early were already able to start their first rehearsals. It was great to see how well the students worked together, supported one another, and took responsibility for their tasks. Mathematics – Discovering Symmetry In Mathematics, we started our new topic on symmetry . Students explored different shapes and solids, looking for lines of symmetry and discussing which shapes are symmetrical and why. They enjoyed investigating and sharing their ideas during class discussions. Language / English – Working with Poetry In Language, we explored another poem.
